What was their goal?

Their primary objective was to reduce running costs and match the energy demands of on-site cold storage. Secondly, they hoped to do so with minimal environmental impact.

How did we help?

We advised on the optimal location to mount the panels at the farm, and we then secured Western Power’s approval to install the array. Due to the non-standard roof structure, we designed and built a bespoke mounting bracket to enable us to fix the panels to the roof. We did so successfully despite challenges, including asbestos and roof fragility. The installation was out quickly and efficient with no disruption to the farm
