David Salisbury manufactures and installs bespoke hardwood conservatories and orangeries exclusively from carefully selected timber. They create some of the finest quality bespoke conservatories, orangeries, and garden rooms in the UK. They are a pioneering, environmentally ethical company,which is ISO14001 accredited, that uses only FSCTimber. They also have a biomass boiler, which uses waste wood to heat the factory and dry paint.

The company sought to meet its environmental targets for carbon reduction and support its ISO 14001 EMS qualification. Furthermore, they wanted an investment with a less than 5-year return while also controlling their high and increasing energy costs.

ZLC Energy designed and installed 150kW Solar PV at the factory to reduce carbon and provide optimum return on investment. We are now working with the company to look at other ways to reduce electricity demand, including assisting them to negotiate a great green electricity deal.
